First Aid for
Daycare Providers - EMSA
4 hours - includes a student first aid kit
The course meets the EMSA requirements for
daycare providers. It gives the student knowledge and skills in a fun and
friendly learning environment that gives confidence in emergencies.
Objectives: Students learn management of burns, exposure,
bleeding, bites/stings, seizures, tooth problem, diabetic emergency, eye
injury, head/neck injury, asthma, fracture/sprain, shock, poisoning, wounds,
first aid kits/precautions, first aid plan/reports. A first aid card with
required EMSA sticker is valid for 2 years, though recommended annually.
